Our Workmanship Guarantee
If something isn't right, we fix it — with clear terms.
Our Promise
Construction Rx stands behind every project with a repair-first workmanship guarantee. If our work doesn't meet generally accepted trade standards, we'll come back and make it right — at no additional cost when a covered defect is confirmed. We do not offer refunds, satisfaction guarantees, or cosmetic redo programs.
Definition of Workmanship Defect
A workmanship defect means a failure of installation or application that materially deviates from generally accepted trade standards at the time the work was performed and directly results in functional failure. Cosmetic preference, subjective appearance concerns, or conditions arising after completion do not constitute a workmanship defect.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is covered under your workmanship guarantee?
Our guarantee covers workmanship defects — failures of installation or application that materially deviate from generally accepted trade standards and result in functional failure. Cosmetic preferences and subjective appearance concerns are not covered.
How long does the warranty last?
Coverage varies by service: 2 years for painting, finishing, and drywall; 1 year for trim, doors, and interior carpentry; 90 days for minor repairs and handyman services.
Is there a fee to file a warranty claim?
A $159 warranty service call fee is required to schedule an inspection. This fee is credited in full if a covered workmanship defect is confirmed. If the issue falls outside coverage, the fee is non-refundable.
What about touch-ups and color matching?
Touch-ups may be visible and are not guaranteed to blend seamlessly due to factors like aging, UV exposure, and lot variation. Visible touch-ups alone do not constitute a defect. Full-area repainting for cosmetic uniformity is billable unless required to correct a verified defect.
Can I hire someone else to fix the issue first?
No. Authorizing third-party repairs before our inspection voids warranty coverage. Written notice and a 14-day inspection window are required before any corrective action.
What is your liability limit?
Our total liability is limited to the lesser of the amount paid for the affected portion of work or our stated cap. Consequential, incidental, indirect damages, and diminution of value are excluded.
